When you look at me like that.
Sometimes I need to not look back at you when I catch you staring at me or making double takes. It’s like if I look at you, the moment would be too perfect. A guy doesn’t look at someone like that unless he feels something deep. And I can’t take for granted this perfectness; I’d want to hold onto it forever. Cause then I’m gonna miss the time you used to look at me like that.

Long haul
so maybe the timing will never be right for us and your kids won’t be my kids. maybe we won’t fall in love or live in a foreign city together. but i’ll have you know this: i love you unconditionally, like only a friend can, and i’m here for the long haul. at 25 or 85, hopefully, you will still be my best friend.
